Who is JAB Publishing?

“Our goal is to provide first-rate web sites to businesses and organizations with small budgets,” says Jennifer Blake, proprietor and owner of JAB Publishing.

Jennifer started JAB Publishing, a one-woman web design business in Rapid City, South Dakota, after leaving the miliatary in 1997. In addition to web design, JAB Publishing develops business cards, stationery, logos, and other desktop publishing products.  

Ms. Blake has more than 15 years of journalistic experience. After serving 7 years in the U.S. Air Force as a public affairs specialist, Ms. Blake decided to join the “civilian world” and founded JAB Publishing.  

While on active duty, Ms. Blake served in Virginia and South Dakota, as well as Tuzla, Bosnia; and Cambrai, France. She earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal. In addition, Ms. Blake was named the 1996 second-place Journalist of the Year for Air Combat Command and the 1997 Air Combat Command Public Affairs Airman of the Year. She has earned degrees in mass communication and business management with a minor in sociology from Black Hills State University in South Dakota. 

In addition to web design work, Jennifer and her husband are both active in the community, from women's organizations to patriotic ones. Jennfier was blessed to be ablt to home educated the couple's youngest child and still works closely with numerous organizations which benefit children.
